Brisbane-based dance duo Mashd N Kutcher‘s new track is a bit of a lockdown banger. The duo made the song in partnership with Turtle Beach, a brand known for creating consumer-grade gaming headphones.
The song, appropriately titled WHEN U COLLAB WITH TURTLE BEACH samples sounds commonly heard in the life of a gamer day-to-day. The clicking of keys on a mechanical keyboard, the rev of a driving game engine, the rattle of FPS gunfire. It’s all weaved into a dancey little mix that should sound pretty tight coming out of the new Turtle Beach Recon 500 headsets the song was created to promote.

Mashd N Kutcher are Matt Minor and Adam Morris, a classically trained pianist and drummer. They’ve risen to local prominence on the strength of tracks like o It Now and Sunshine, but it was their pulsing lockdown anthem Get On The Beers that shot them to internet stardom in 2020.
