Hitman 3 to bring VR support across entire trilogy

Hitman 3 will bring PlayStation VR support to the entire World of Assassination trilogy.

The VR trailer debuted during this morning’s PlayStation State of Play broadcast and gives a short but solid sample of what the game will look like in VR. Support will be applied retroactively to Hitman and Hitman 2 as well, so you can play through every level in virtual reality. Will you have what it takes to garrotte a guy in detailed first-person perspective? We can see the same old video game violence arguments rearing their heads again over this one.

While there’s no word yet on support for non PSVR hardware, we’d fully expect the PC version to support Oculus, Vive, et al.

Arriving on current and next-gen platforms in January, Hitman 3 takes Agent 47 to a host of brand new locations from around the world. It will close out one of the greatest franchise reinventions of the current hardware generation.

Hitman 3 launches in January 2021 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
