GX Australia 2017’s Kickstarter enters its final 48 hours

With only AU$17,000 remaining, the Kickstarter for GX Australia 2017 has entered its final 48 hours and it needs your support now more than ever.

The local arm of the popular LGBTQ+ gaming convention Gaymer X, the show kicked off in March at Australian Technology Park in Sydney. It was, by all accounts, a rousing success, giving an important voice to the local LGBTQ+ indie development scene.

The 2017 show will be held at the Sydney Showground, which is a huge deal for a show in its sophomore year. The Showground location will make it easier to get in, find your way around and make it to the panels you want to see on time!

Also, air-conditioning. Pleasant bonus!

The show needed help from the public to get off the ground last year, however, and this year is no different. We don’t typically get on our high horses at The Iris, but this is a show we believe in. This is a show that Australia badly needs.

If you have some disposable cash lying around, please consider giving to the GX Australia Kickstarter. You’ve got two days left to do so and you’ll snag some sweet-as-heck loot for your trouble!
