E3 2021: New Rainbow Six Extraction trailers

Rainbow Six Extraction

After going dark throughout the pandemic, Rainbow Six Extraction has returned at last. Extraction, which dropped its old subtitle, Quarantine, for obvious reasons, is a Left 4 Dead style co-op shooter. Teams are small, only 1-3 players, with Operator characters, pulled from the popular Rainbow Six Seige.

Unlike Left 4 Dead, however, what you are going up against are not zombies but aliens. You could be forgiven for thinking they were zombies, however, because they look and act very much like zombies.

Players will recognise a lot of mechanics from Seige that have transferred over. Closing up doors and using your tricks and traps to slow aliens down will be one of your most effective tools. This is R6 — thinking tactically will help you win the day.

Rainbow Six Extraction will feature cross-play multiplayer, so players on any platform can play together. It launches September 14, 2021, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
