Crash Bandicoot might have been resting his eyes in recent years, but I’m not sure we would have guessed this kind of return.
According to a report from What’s On Netflix, Crash Bandicoot will be getting his own animated series on Netflix, although a release window is not yet known.
WildBrain Studios, the same studio behind several Netflix series, including Carmen Sandiego, Johnny Test, Go, Dog. Go! and most recently, Sonic Prime, will be working on this new show. Funnily enough, however, this isn’t the first time Crash has featured in a television series, with his first appearance being a cameo on the Skylanders Academy, from Activision Blizzard Studios and TeamTO.
We most recently saw Crash in the long-awaited sequel, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, released in 2020, and again, more recently, in Crash Team Rumble, released in 2023.
We don’t know much more at this stage, but we do know that more Crash Bandicoot can never be a bad thing.
