Bandai Namco delays Get Even following Manchester attack

Get Even, Bandai Namco’s upcoming British-based psychological thriller, has been delayed until June 23 in light of yesterday’s attacks in Manchester.
The official statement from the publisher reads as follows:

Given recent events and out of respect we have decided to postpone the commercial release of Get Even to June 23rd. We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone concerned.

While disappointing for those who were looking forward to playing¬†Get Even this week, it’s hard to argue that this isn’t the right move.

Get Even¬†follows an amnesiac who awakens in an old, rotting house and finds himself trying to save a young woman for reasons¬†he can’t quite explain. While doing this, he must avoid detection by a group of mysterious individuals who seem hell-bent on hunting them both down.

We had planned to bring you our review of Get Even this week, however the embargo date for publication has also been pushed back in light of the delay. We look forward to bringing you our thoughts on the game next month.
