Chan Marshall brings Cat Power back to Australia in November and December 2026 to perform her acclaimed 2006 album The Greatest in full, celebrating one of the defining records of Chan Marshall’s remarkable career.
The Australian tour kicks off at The Tivoli in Brisbane on November 30, before travelling to Geelong, Melbourne, Adelaide, the iconic Sydney Opera House, Canberra and Perth.
At the heart of the tour is The Greatest, performed in its entirety. Recorded in Memphis with members of the legendary Hi Rhythm Section, the album saw Marshall blend indie rock, folk, blues and Southern soul into something deeply personal.
Released in 2006, The Greatest produced enduring Cat Power favourites including “The Greatest”, “Living Proof” and “Lived in Bars” and remains one of the most celebrated records in her catalogue.
