Just annouced Silversun Pickups return to Australia after a 14 year absence on their Tenterhooks tour July 2026.
Silversun Pickups are an American indie and alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in the early 2000s, the quartet is known for its lush, guitar-driven sound and energetic live performances. They achieved attention with Carnavas (2006), and their hit single “Lazy Eye”. The follow-up, Swoon (2009), debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Subsequent albums Neck of the Woods (2012), Better Nature (2015), Widow’s Weeds (2019) and Physical Thrills (2022) showcased evolving production and deeper introspection.
Led by Brian Aubert, the band have long occupied a unique space in alternative rock, and their 2026 new album Tenterhooks pushes that identity into new territory.
