British pop icon Lily Allen will return to Australia for a national headline tour, delivering a run of highly anticipated live shows that will include a special featured performance of her acclaimed rendition of West End Girl.
Lily Allen emerged in the mid-2000s as one of the UK’s most distinctive pop voices, blending sharp social commentary with catchy, genre-mixing songwriting.
With West End Girl, her fifth studio album and first in seven years, Lily Allen turns the lens inward and steps back into centre frame. Inspired by her relocation to New York, the record unfolds as a narrative-driven set of 14 songs that blur the lines between truth and invention, delivering what stands as the most emotionally expansive and self-aware work of her career. Each track is penned by Allen, largely alongside her musical director Blue May, resulting in a collection that feels both intimate and sharply crafted.
