Mumford & Sons Announce Australian ‘Prizefighter’ Tour for 2026

Mumford & Sons have confirmed their Prizefighter Tour for 2026, marking a proper return to Australia after this year’s one-off Sydney Opera House show. The legendary folk band are headed to Melbourne and Sydney in April with some stellar support.

Their new record Prizefighter (out 13 Feb 2026) comes hot on the heels of Rushmere, hinting at a band moving with real momentum again. Co-produced with Aaron Dessner and stacked with features from Hozier, Gracie Abrams and Chris Stapleton, it’s shaping up to be a genuine reset moment for the UK powehouse three-piece. If Prizefighter lands the way it’s shaping up to, these could be some of the most talked-about Aussie shows of 2026. These shows will be the first chance to see that shift live, paired with the hits that built their name.

Joining them across all dates are Folk Bitch Trio, a perfect choice, one that gives the tour a bit of local grounding and grit. The Naarm/Melbourne outfit has carved out their own loyal following with tight harmonies, sharp songwriting and a completely unpretentious stage presence. Having them open arenas feels like a huge and very deserved step up.

Presales kick off Wednesday 3 December from 10am local, before general on sale on Friday 5 December at 11am via Secret Sounds and Live Nation. For tickets and all the information, head HERE.

As always, $1 from every ticket will support War Child through the band’s long-standing PLUS1 partnership.
