Audrey Hobert to play two intimate Australian shows this October

Breakout singer-songwriter and rising pop sensation Audrey Hobert has announced two debut Australian shows for early next month. Marking her first performances Down Under and some of her first live performances ever, Melbourne and Sydney fans will be given the rare chance to see her up close before she inevitably takes on much larger stages.

Hobert has been making quiet but hugely impactful waves in the music industry for years, most notably as a longtime friend and collaborator of Gracie Abrams, having cowritten much of Abrams’ 2024 hit album The Secret Of Us.

This year, Hobert stepped into her own spotlight, releasing music of her own, and last month delivered her debut record Who’s The Clown? to wide acclaim. The record is a firecracker- so incredibly authentic, fun and deeply relatable, perfectly showcasing Hobert’s ability to capture raw, messy emotions and unique feelings and turn them into effortlessly catchy pop songs.

Australian fans were sent into a frenzy following the announcement of the tiny tour, with the two shows scheduled to take place at some of our most intimate venues. In Melbourne, Hobert will perform at The Toff In Town, a standing-room space with a capacity of approximately 330. In Sydney, she’ll hit the stage at the Landsdowne Hotel, which typically holds around 300. With such limited capacity and Hobert’s rapidly growing popularity, demand for tickets is expected to be intense.

To ensure a fair chance for fans, a ballot system was set up over the weekend, with the first ballot being drawn today (Monday September 15th). Fans selected in the first round will be granted access to purchase tickets between 4 and 5pm AEST this afternoon. Should tickets remain, a second ballot will open tomorrow (Tuesday September 16th), with successful entrants able to buy during a one-hour window from 10 to 11am. For those who miss out, a waitlist will be available to keep fans updated on any additional ticket releases or last-minute availability.

As one of pop’s most exciting new voices, Audrey Hobert is on the brink of something big, and these intimate Australian shows mark a rare opportunity to see a star in the making at the very beginning of her rise. Find out more HERE.
