British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean announces a one-night only headline performance on November 20th this year. This show will take place outdoors at the Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point, with the show titled Evening At The Fleet Steps.
The Evening At The Fleet Steps show will be in support of Dean’s new album The Art of Loving coming out on September 26th this year. Fans have already been given two tracks from the upcoming album “Nice to Each Other” and “Lady Lady”, the latter of which was only released last week.
This exclusive show follows her Australian touring debut as a Laneway headliner earlier this year with some additional headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
Following her 2023 debut album Messy, Dean was nominated for three BRITS, shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and – more recently – had her music featured in the sound track of the new Bridget Jones film Mad About The Boy.
With Dean’s debut album Messy, featured tracks such as “The Hardest Part” and “Dive” showcase how Dean stylistically intertwines soul and pop to create an intimate emotional experience for her fans. Dean says this upcoming album The Art of Loving will delve deeper into the more ordinary textures surrounding her lifelong study of love. “I think there’s a whole spectrum of how you can have relationships with people in your life and still make them really meaningful and honest,” she says.
Pre-sale tickets for Evening At The Fleet Steps will go on sale on Tuesday 22nd July @10am local time and general sale Wednesday 23rd July @11am local time. Fans also have the opportunity to get exclusive pre-sale access on Monday 21st July @10am local time by preordering her new album The Art of Loving.
