Del Water Gap is heading back to Australia this September for a run of headline shows, following the announcement of his SummerSalt festival appearances earlier this year. The Brooklyn-based songwriter and producer will play three headline dates only, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, in between sets at Torquay, Tamborine, Lake Macquarie and Fremantle as part of the huge SummerSalt series.
It marks his first visit since 2023, when he played some gorgeous intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne, plus a standout set at Splendour in the Grass. This time, the stages are bigger, but the emotional pull remains the same.
The tour follows his second LP, I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet, a big, sprawling record that leans into soul-baring pop, with features from wistful heavy-hitters Arlo Parks and Clairo, and production from Sammy Witte and Ethan Gruska. It builds on the ache of his earlier work, but the sound is bolder.
General tickets are on sale now via secretsounds.com.
