Blue Mountains-based rock-and-rollers Belles Will Ring are back with new single “Come North With Me Baby, Wow”. Check out the new music video!
“Come North With Me Baby” is available as a digital EP via iTunes NOW. Recorded in the band’s familiar setting of the Blue Mountains with front-man Liam Judson once again at the production helm, Come North With Me Baby, Wow features Belles Will Ring’s distinct textures of jangling guitars and harmonies, and the introduction of a dusty mariachi brass section.
The single is accompanied by beautiful B-side Old Man Tomorrow, which features, for the first time, Lauren Crew on lead vocals, and a remix of Come To My Village by Cloud Control’s Alistair Wright — a reciprocated collaboration following Liam Judson’s production role of Cloud Control’s ARIA nominated debut record.
Lyrically, Come North With Me Baby, Wow connects to the predominate themes on the bands second LP (set for release in early Autumn 2011 via Remote Control), exploring the concepts of escape in various forms.
