New Music Video: Tame Impala "Mind Mischief" (2013)

After the extreme success of Tame Impala's second album Lonerism, 'Mind Mischief' is the third single from the album accompanied by this tongue-in-cheek and somewhat crazy new clip. Tame Impala can't really go wrong, so check it out.

New Music Video: Hannah Williams & The Tastemakers "I'm a Good Woman" (2013)

This cover of Barbara Lynn's 'I'm a Good Woman' definitely does the song justice with the powerful vocals and smooth brass instruments from Hannah Williams & The Tastemakers. This soulful and revamped version is powerful both by the ear and from the visuals in the video clip that accompanies it. A refreshing revival of an old tune, so give it a gander!

New Music Video: Soundgarden - "By Crooked Steps" (2013)

Is there anything Dave Grohl ISN'T doing at the moment? Along with everything Sound City related, the Foo Fighters leader can now call himself the director of a Soundgarden video. The latest film clip from Soundgarden, titled "By Crooked Steps", was helmed by Grohl and shows the band rocking some leather biker outfits and riding segways. Not even kidding.

New Music Video: Ruby Boots "Kellie Anne"

One of Perth's greatest bands, Ruby Boots have released a beautiful carnivàle style video for their single 'Kellie Anne' as a taster of what is to come.

New Music Video: Sun City "High" (2013)

Shot in the exquisitely beautiful wilderness of Canada, this video holds you in a spell. Apparently based on the story of Pocahontas, children are the main actors here. The music itself is smooth in the soaring vocals yet energetic as well, with the electronic backing. Definitely one to watch as well as listen.

Single Stream: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Jubilee Street" (2013)

"Jubilee Street" is the second single from the fifteenth studio album to be released by legendary band Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, entitled Push the Sky Away. With the lyrics streaming as you listen to the track, there is simplicity and softness in the sound, with the music stripped back. There's a certain amount of intensity in the song that holds you still, that Cave pulls off so brilliantly (as always).

Exclusive Music Video Premiere! Dune Rats - Red Light, Green Light (2013)

While we were in New York for CMJ, we headed down to Coney Island just before it was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy and happened to bump into Brisbane boys Dune Rats wreaking their own havoc on the Island, which happened to be celebrating the Halloween season at the time. They managed to get a music video out of their good times for their new single "Red Light, Green Light", which ends with a short video that sums up the rest of their New York good times. Perhaps that's putting it mildly. Enjoy the premiere of this highly entertaining music video below!

Single Stream: Nick Pes "I Remember" (2013)

This song is the first solo release from Nick Pes, and it's a pretty good one! Boppy, feel good, and psychedelic, Pes has created a song that combines electronic elements well with his natural-sounding voice. The steady bass line and drums keep the song grounded and pounding forward, giving it drive right until the music fades out. Have a listen and evaluate this fresh new single for yourself!

New Music Video: Birds of Tokyo "Lanterns" (2013)

Birds of Tokyo don't stay quiet for long, and this year is set to be an even bigger one for the band than 2012. 'Lanterns' is the second single to be released from their forthcoming album March Fire, set for release, appropriately, on March 1st. This song is a fantastic taster of the album, with a dreamy beginning, before getting more intense before the end of the song, then back to the subdued music of the beginning. The video clip reflects the music, with isolated characters, who eventually end up in the crowd, before becoming isolated once again.

New Music Video: Bonhom "Live For Now" (2012)

Dream-pop duo Bonhom have just released a pretty cool music video to go with their uplifting little tune, "Live for Now". The video and the song both give you some nice warm fuzzies in your tummy, bringing an inspiring message to listeners. With dream-like elements, particularly in the slidey vocals of the verse, contrasting with a more upbeat chorus, this song fulfils all that a dream-pop song could desire. Check out the video below!

New Music Video: Sincerely, Grizzly - "Isaac" (2013)

Adelaide's Sincerely, Grizzly have kicked off 2013 with a brand new film clip for their tune "Isaac". Premiered by Dom Alessio on Triple J only recently, the video for "Isaac" was shot by Matt Vesely, winner of the South Australian Screen Awards' Best Music Video of 2012.
