I have to admit downstairs at Spectrum is definitely not my favourite venue. It would be perfect if I were 6 foot tall (the fact that I'm not explains why there are no photos accompanying this review) or if I wanted to stand half a metre away from the band copping bits of their sweat and being nudged and hit from much bigger people than myself.

After having his flight delayed due to the snowstorms in New York, Lightspeed Champion (dressed as a superhero of some kind) made up for his cancelled Oxford Art Factory show with a very special intimate gig at the Spectrum.

After the successful release of debut album Don’t Sleep, Melbourne band Stealing O’Neal graced Sydney with their presence for what turned out to be an amazing show.
