Today, Sydney Contemporary returns to Carriageworks for as 90 galleries across 14 different countries come together for a massive display of thoughtful and provoking contemporary art. It's Australasia's largest and most diverse gathering of Australian and international galleries and it only take place every two years. Catherine the Great's inexhaustible passion for the Arts, Education and Culture heralded a renaissance, leading to the formation of one of the world's great museums, the Hermitage. The collection is now on show at a Melbourne-exclusive exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. Carl Dziunka went along to capture these priceless masterpieces.

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image is staging an Exhibition showing a piece of everything that has showcased Bowie's career.
The Gertrude Street Projection Festival is now in its eighth Year. The Festival transforms Gertrude Street into an open air Art Gallery by projecting art in shop windows, on the walls of buildings and various other spaces in the area. One of the projection is even shown on the enormous wall of one of the towers on the Atherton Gardens Housing estate. The festival is free and it is a way of integrating art into the urban landscape which can be enjoyed by many people within the community as it blends and becomes a part of everyday life.
