After enthralling audiences across the UK and Europe, C.W. Stoneking, the guitar and banjo playing, singer/songwriter and raconteur, returns to Australia on Friday 2nd December to perform a one off side show at The Corner Hotel, Richmond. This will be Melbourne audience’s only chance to catch C.W.’s authentic old-time blues style before he heads north to take to the stage for the first time at this year’s Homebake Festival in Sydney.

Jungle Blues, the 2008 follow-up, inspired partly by his amazing survival of a shipwreck drew further acclaim with its blend of southern blues, calypso, jungle jazz and hillbilly sounds. No slowing down, internationally C.W.’s profile continued to grow with appearances on Jools Holland, features in Mojo and Word Magazine UK, rave reviews in Uncut, R2 and Americana-UK as well as performing shows across the globe to escalating praise.
