Last night the final Russian Standard Vodka Live at the Chapel event for 2011 took place in Newtown, with the first ever double act for long running series. Two of Australia's finest live acts, PNAU and Eskimo Joe, shared the altar (so to speak) for a very entertaining evening of live music, in the acoustic brilliance of the St Stephen’s Anglican Church.
Russian Standard Vodka Live At The Chapel is delighted to welcome new host Ruby Rose to the fold for the first event of 2011, a truly rock’n’roll occasion with special guests, The Vines.
One of Australia’s most popular personalities, Ruby will join The Vines at the majestic St Stephen’s Anglican Church in Newtown on Thursday 26th May. Ruby is prolifically talented, with a career spanning television, radio, a fashion label, and DJ gigs.
It's a rare thing in this day and age to see a live music-oriented
series survive on Australian Television. Even programs on MTV and
Channel [V] don't seem to stick around for too long. There is one
