It's the third and final day of Johnny Au's photos from the Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival in Hong Kong - and boy did it go off with a bang. On their way to Australia, The Lemonheads rocked it, Hong Kong's Noughts and Exes impressed, The Stray Katz Big Band covered the classics and Dan Deacon created beautiful, beautiful mayhem. But it was up to Tenacious D and The Flaming Lips to close out the festival...

The Lemonheads set for Meredith Music Festival sideshows this December!

US legends The Lemonheads are going to be playing some exclusive Meredith Festival sideshows this December, great news for those many Australian fans who aren't able to get the festival! While they've not released any new material since 2006, the love for Australia the band has had in years past and now has always remained strong. The band's only constant member Evan Dando is basically an honorary Aussie with the amount of time he's spent here and has recently been back in the studio working on new material.

Ty Segall, Phosphorescent, Ghostface Killah and more join the Meredith Festival line up!

The Meredith Festival has once again made those who've entered the official ticket ballot incredibly hyped for the chance of landing themselves passes and everyone else who can't be at the December festival fiercely jealous, with the reveal of their 2014 artist announcement! Joining The War on Drugs is a line up of Australian and international artists Meredith describes as a result of 'dreaming longer', 'going further' and 'listening longer'.

Live Review: Evan Dando + Juliana Hatfield - Metro Theatre (20.12.12)

The Metro hosted two members of alt-rock royalty just before Christmas. This man and woman made beautiful music together and are known to us as Evan Dando and Juliana Hatfield. They’re also present friends; one-time enemies; long-time collaborators and are both current members of The Lemonheads. So naturally, the set drew largely from the group’s discography and famous covers; as well as the individuals’ solo material, Hatfield’s former band, Blake Babies and much more.
