Oceanics , the four piece indie rockers from the Gold Coast are about to commence an Australian tour to launch their new single, "The City". These boys have been performing publicly since 2009, and since then have toured with the likes of AC/DC and Goyte. Performing with them will be several fine local Aussie bands.

If you've got nothing on tomorrow night and are itching for some great live music, Expatriate will be kicking off an east coast run of dates in Melbourne! The Sydney-siders have recently had their song "Do You Remember" remixed by Tales In Space, with the national competition winners putting their 'elecro-dynamo-pomo-disco rock' twists on Expatriate's synth-driven rock ballad.
Tales in Space are Luke Bertoz & Simon Widaur from Sydney who write, play & record their own tunes and - as you'll see below in their new film clip - occasionally dress up as scientists and conduct experiments. You may remember the band from their track "Work You Out" that got a good amount of radio play, and they’ve spent the last 6 months or so writing and recording their debut full length, which we can expect later this year. Enjoy a preview from that record - the track is called "Starwars".

From an operatic rock epic to the Sydney Comedy Festival, hat parties and the Hard Rock - here are the latest Gig Announcements!

“Paper Plane” is an insatiably boppy pop tune from the Sydney three-piece Tales in Space and the first single taken from their forthcoming album. It's the latest of the trio’s radio-friendly electro-pop releases, and achieves just what it sets out to do.
An effectively simple drum beat is fused with a bouncing synth melody reminiscent of dance-inducing duo Tim & Jean (or indie sweethearts Fol Chen and their 2009 single “Cable TV”).
Halloween might be over but Tales In Space are keeping things spooky with the launch of their new EP ‘Ghost In The Room’
