Adelaide low-fi indie chanteuse Summer Flake has released her debut record titled You Can Have It All. With industry praise from Faster Louder, The Music, Who The Hell and Polaroids of Androids, she will be taking her jams nationwide on a tour filled with new support acts for every city.

Hand Games Zine hosting a tour to celebrate official zine launch!

Hand Games turned one back in March and celebrated by throwing a few shindigs around the place...seems like the only right thing to do! Now, they're bringing the party to you once more, as they officially launch their zine with some launch parties around the country.

From 360 to Wolfmother: The Aussies at SXSW 2013 - Part Seven

In just over a month, the city of Austin, Texas will be throwing open its doors to tens of thousands of music fans, industry officials and musicians for the annual SXSW music festival and conference. Amongst that number are over thirty Australian artists. Over the course of the next couple of weeks we'll be profiling these artists, offering a brief introduction to what they’re about and what they have to offer.

I’m writing this review after sleeping all day Monday thanks to being absolutely exhausted from the visual, aural and kinesthetic experience that was Lost City. A completely immersive experience that delighted the explorer in me, challenged my notions of “real” music, had me crawling in and out of a cardboard cubby house, face painted by a nine year old with a flashing fairy light hat and dancing until I couldn’t stand up.

SXSW Music announces its next wave of bands for 2013!

SXSW has announced its next waves of invited acts to perform at the 2013 conference, the festival's 27th edition. Taking place in Austin, Texas from March 12-17, the second batch of bands brings the total to a massive 800 announced artists. The list is still yet to be completed, but below are the Australian boys and girls who are set to do their thing at SXSW next year!
