Isidore is a collaboration between Steve Kilbey – songwriter, painter, compulsive blogger, and bassist and frontman for The Church for some thirty-odd years – and US musician Jeffrey Cain of Remy Zero, alt-rockers of ‘Save Me’ and Villa Elaine-fame. Their first eponymous album came out in 2004, recorded separately in two continents before the two even knew each other.
