
"One Eye Open" is Roscoe James Irwin's latest clip directed by James Base. The clip has Roscoe rocking out with his band, shot at Ben Edgar’s newly finished Pick and Mix Studio where Roscoe is currently recording the songs for his next EP offering due out later this year.
Following last year’s release of debut album Hunting Road, lesser-known The Cat Empire member, Roscoe James Irwin, has released Wasted, a four-track EP featuring uplifting musical gems.

Roscoe James Irwin has stepped down from his iconic status as a bandleader and large-scale composer for seminal Australian bands The Cat Empire and The Bamboos, to bring you a colorful and wide ranging, debut solo record The Hunting Road that is simple, thoughtful, and beautiful. No brass or string sections, no jungle breaks or percussion, just simple folky pop songs and beautiful lyrical storytelling.
An artist like Roscoe James Irwin could only ever have come from the city of Melbourne. In a place that is crammed full of musicians working across all kinds of genres, Irwin has cemented his place as a kind of musical mastermind.
