
The nominations for the 2012 Jagermeister Independent Music Awards have been announced, with Chet Faker leading the pack with five nominantions! The Jagermeister Independent Music Awards is returning for its seventh year in 2012, acknowledging Australia's brightest emerging artists alongside established and well-respected performers. When John Butler embarked on his solo "Tin Shed Tales" tour, he sold out shows all over the country, with fans provided the rare opportunity to hear Butler's iconic music in a completely different setting. Butler is please to announced that he will be taking this format of gig to Mackay, Townsville, and Bundaberg during September and October!

San Cisco swept the board at last night’s WAMi Awards in an evening hosted by Triple J’s Dom Alessio and TV personality Claire Hooper, with the band winning all eight of the awards they were nominated for; including Most Popular Group and Pop Act of the Year. Another of the evening’s big winners was Abbe May who finished the evening with six awards including Most Popular Solo Artist and Rock Act of the Year.

John Butler has announced his "Tin Sheds" national tour. It will be a "solo and intimate" tour that is reaching all parts of the country. This tour is a rare chance to see John Butler in a much more personal environment.

Since we missed last Monday due to our slow return from Splendour in the Grass, we're making up for it this week with a MASSIVE Music Video Monday. Plenty of Australian love alongside artists from around the world. So who's got the coveted music video of the week spot? Well it's none other than Boy & Bear who released their debut album Moonfire on Friday and have blown crowds away at Lollapalooza over the weekend. The track is "Milk & Sticks":
