The 2015 Listen Out festival line up has dropped today and it's looking to be a sweet fusion of hip-hop, dance and electronic music at the events scheduled for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth this September and October. Leading the charge this year is Childish Gambino, who'll be making his Australian return off the back of a popularly received Splendour in the Grass appearance last year. Most recently, Gambino's debuted a new track at Bonnaroo in the States, so we're keen to see what new music stands to come out between now and his next lot of Aussie dates. Falls Festival alumni SBTRKT, Joey Bada$$, Alison Wonderland and Client Liaison also feature on the 2015 bill, with more announcements still to drop!

A mysterious third headliner is blanked out on the festival poster, with many already speculating that Paul McCartney will take the spot - with his many appearances lately, it wouldn't be totally surprising. For now, we know that Kings of Leon and The Killers lead the top row, with the likes of Morrissey, Bastille, Foster the People, Modest Mouse and Snoop Dogg following hot on their heels.

Live Review: Falls Festival, Day Two - North Byron Parklands (31.12.14)

It’s five minutes to midnight, Flume’s remix of “Tennis Court” is spinning out from the Valley Stage, where Alison Wonderland ducks and jumps behind the decks. Confetti is falling, lit up gold by the fierce strobes, drifting and sticking to the 10,000 sweaty people that are crammed into the Valley. The music cuts for the countdown, and Day two of Falls ends as the New Year begins – with another explosion of confetti.

Monte Morgan of Client Liaison (Melbourne) talks 80s, cargo pants, Outside In, and more

Melbourne duo Client Liaison have quickly become live favourites in Australia, with their pitch perfect throwback to 80s swagger basically built in to their look, their sound, and their live show. But this duo are much more than just a pair of revivalists trying to bring a bygone era back into style, Harvey Miller and Monte Morgan are deadly serious about their art and the various modes of expression they like the play around with. Ahead of their appearance at Outside In Festival at the end of this month we caught up with Monte to chat about their recently released debut EP, crowd reactions, cargo pants, Outside In, and more.

Album Review: Client Liaison - Client Liaison (2014 EP)

Client Liaison are unabashedly retro. Everything about them from the old school mobile phone pasted across their EP cover, their music clips filmed almost purely on self-repaired, discontinued analogue video cameras. Down to the outfits the duo drape themselves in on stage.
