If the rumors are true, The Merc with a Mouth will be getting a second movie.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the story earlier today, reporting that Deadpool screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will be returning to handle the untitled-but-greenlit follow-up.
Details are scarce at present but it feels safe to say that star Ryan Reynolds will likely reprise his role as the titular superhero.
Critical reception for Deadpool has been generally quite positive with Carina’s review saying that “from the opening ridiculous credit sequences to the amusing post credit scene this film is a gattling gun of jokes being fired.”
Deadpool releases on the 11th of February 2016.
