Food trucks and free arcade games planned for Sydney’s newest night market

Sydney’s long-standing Paddy’s Markets will be making excellent use of their Flemington car park by opening it up every Saturday night to some of the city’s best food trucks. Capitalising on the growing food trends in Sydney, more than 25 established and up and coming food trucks will be rolling into the park lot every week to feed the masses while they duck in and out of the markets.

The venue will transform into an urban eatery complete with crates for tables and an original street feel underneath the seven metre high ceilings. New and Long-standing food vendors like ChurBurger and Kayter Co will become regular players at the event, offering up their signatures as well as specials.

“Paddy’s Night Food Markets has created a vibe that no one else can replicate and a space that I’ve never seen before.” said owner of Churburger food truck William Lovehill. “The size and set up of the carpark has made it surprisingly intimate for such a huge space and is the perfect place for food trucks to trade. The free arcade and music really adds to the ambiance and gives this whole eatery a cool, modern edge”.

The latest in street food concepts including Maverick Wings and Dirty Bird will also be represented, with new chefs waiting to fill market-goers with freshly cooked fried and indulgent food. What’s more is that the spread of food trucks will also be broken up with a bunch of free arcade games, bringing in that 8-bit greatness while local DJ Mike Hyper helps push up the atmosphere with his sets.
