What music or artists inspired you?
cLOUD9 has many Influences and Musicians that inspire us, but sticking strictly to bands our 3 would be The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Roots, and Sublime.
How did the band get started?
3 bands came together to play a one night only Music Showcase at House Of Blues Chicago in 2012 and have been playing ever since as a 9 piece!

Our newest release is a record called Punk Soul. It is a funk driven, groovy, melodic-fueled record, which pays homage to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Parliament (Funkadelic) and Earth Wind & Fire. Punk Soul introduces our Newest Member of cLOUD9, Aya Smith and her Amazing Voice! Check it out!!!
