Deadlights and Mirrors announce co-headline national tour The Ego’s Valley

Today local heavy giants Deadlights and Mirrors have announced a co-headline tour of Australia – The Ego’s Valley – in November, supported by Inertia.

Brisbane hardcore outfit Deadlights and Gippsland metalcore act Mirrors have proved to be some of the country’s best heavy performers in recent years. With the former’s The Uncanny Valley and the latter’s The Ego’s Weight being huge sophomore projects, the bands were catapulted to the forefront of the local scene last year. After both touring relentlessly since, The Ego’s Valley is a chance for them to share the stage with equally powerful musicians in a new light.

Since touring with each other in November 2019 on Thornhill’s The Dark Pool tour, we’ve been itching to get back on the road together!” share vocalists Dylan Davidson (Deadlights) and Patty Goodman (Mirrors).

As we both released albums during COVID and haven’t had a chance to tour them yet, we figured now is the perfect time to make it happen. I think our sounds mesh in a really cool way that both our fanbases will love. Our worlds are going to collide to create an experience that the Aussie scene will always remember.”

The six-date tour will stop at Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane this November, with Inertia coming along for the ride at all shows except Perth. Tickets will be available from Wednesday 3 August at 5pm via Destroy All Lines. You definitely will not want to miss this joining of forces!
