The Arbory Afloat returns to the Yarra in time for spring

Melbourne’s renowned floating bar and restaurant, The Arbory Afloat resurfaces to the Yarra River. Spruced up with a fresh new look taking inspiration from Australian beach houses, the venue will showcase chic coastal interiors with an inner-city meets sea-side oasis. Although the two bars, upper pool deck and dining area have remained in place, expect splashes of lime-washed timber decor and vibrant lush greenery with an array of mix of coastal colours to brighten it up.

Executive Chef Nick Bennett will be heroing modern coastal dishes with a  Mediterranean twist, all sourced from local ingredients and produce. On the drinks front, Four Pillars Pink Gin makes a comeback along with summer craft beer, international wines and an extensive cocktail menu with six house-made and mixed cocktails available on tap.

Afloat will also be hosting several events including the Spring Racing Carnival with live coverage from Flemington LIVE on LED screens with onsite bookies and Fashions on the Fields. Tickets will go on sale in October. Safe-dining measures have been utilised across the venue and will be consistent with government mandated health and safety regulations.

Arbory Afloat Beach House will open on Monday 26 October from 11am to 1am daily. For more information, head on over to The Arbory Afloat.
