This year’s Barunga Festival was a special one, as the regional NT arts, music, sport and dance event celebrated 30 impressive years. On the music front, attendees were spoiled for choice, with performances from artists including the iconic Saltwater Band, Shellie Morris, Caiti Baker and Yirrmal were received brilliantly, while elsewhere on the program, punters got involved in celebrating a rich culture and arts community that has long existed in the Top End.
