It’s time once again for my feature column “Larry Likes!” in which I share recent musical discoveries with you – both locally and internationally. In this second edition I move to Melbourne to introduce you to Spender, the production moniker for Tommy Spender who released a new single last month, “Bed & Chair”. I’m a fan of the clip as well as the track, which both catchy and a breath of fresh air from the Melbourne scene. He was recently on tour with Mama Kin and definitely impressed plenty along the way. The single has been taken off of his debut EP Modern Pest which is due for release through MGM on June 21st, 2013.
