Anothy Lister gets up in Sydney

I had the chance to follow up my video of Lister getting up in LA and this time catch him painting a mural at our friend Simon Lovelace‘s Sydney gallery, blank_space. Although often on canvases in major galleries these days, Lister still burns them out like a street boss.

New Music Video: Tonight Alive - "Listening" (2012)

I’ve always found it a little awkward when Tonight Alive tried to include plot in their videos because it always seemed like they tossed it in as an afterthought. Thankfully, the punk-rockers have forgone any elements of a storyline in their latest music video, with the focus one hundred percent on performance.

New Music Video: Cub Scouts - "Told You So" (2012)

Bubble O'Bills. VCRs. The Mighty Ducks. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Hubba Bubba. Goosebumps books.

New Music Video: Lowlakes - "Cold Company" (2012)

Melbourne's Lowlakes have turned the 'haunting dreampop' notch up to 11 with the video for their song "Cold Company". Tom Snowdon's vocals are gorgeous as ever, while the rhythmic percussion courtesy of Jack Talbot adds a real dramatic and persistent vibe which carries the song strongly.

New Music Video: Birds Of Tokyo - "This Fire" (2012)

birds of tokyo

It's been long anticipated follow up to Birds Of Tokyo's multi platinum self-titled record and to tease us with next years release, the band have thrown up a cracker little EP. "This Fire" is the lead single from it and has Ian Kenny's trademark voice and lyrical poetry, picking up nicely from where they left off with the last record. Judging by this, they have another number one album on the way.

New Music Video: Fishing - "Choy Lin" (2012)

Sydney's Fishing have released a film clip to accompany their single, "Choy Lin"! We here at The AU think it's pretty eclectic, and all over pretty awesome - definitely not your run-of-the-mill music video! The animation is as sweeping as the music and has a great little sense of adventure, with the music providing a cool soundtrack.

We want your thoughts on "Choy Lin"! Check the video out and let us know!
