Finding it a handy way to catch the vast majority of bands who took over Sydney Olympic Park for Big Day Out in 2010, I once again decided to venture out to the festival grounds for the two consecutive days of the 2011 event. Having seen such a ridiculous amount of amazing music over this period I've decided to break this review down by the eight main stages. But before we get started, let's give a bit of an overview...

The summer heat was at full force as thousands of people arrived to the 100th Big Day Out.
Kisschasy played their sweet pop songs to an energetic crowd with hits such as ‘Face Without a Name’ and ‘Generation Why’.
They don’t call it Big for nothing. After what seemed a lifetime of waiting since the tickets went on sale (two hours earlier than they should have for some, thanks for the heads up Facebook!), Friday the 22nd of January was upon us. And boy, was it upon us.
