METRO THEATRE

Photo Gallery and Live Review: Seether + Numbers Radio - Metro Theatre, Sydney (05.02.12)

South Africa's Seether performed to an almost full-house at Sydney's Metro Theatre on February 5, 2012; supported by Brisbane's Numbers Radio.

Numbers Radio put their trained talents to fine use on the Metro stage and surely won some new fans with their own brand of driving rock. All three members are clearly excellent musicians, playing tight and appearing to have a good time.

Live Review: Mariachi El Bronx + The Vasco Era - Metro Theatre (25.01.12)

Mariachi El Bronx

Got to give it to the boys in The Bronx. While they are across town opening for Soundgarden, I'm at The Metro waiting for The Vasco Era, who in the past have not impressed me much. Live Review: Kitty, Daisy & Lewis - Metro Theatre (24.01.12)

Live Review: GZA + Pharoahe Monch + Jean Grae - Metro Theatre (07.01.12)

In the past few years (most of) Wu-Tang Clan have played two collective shows at the Enmore, and a handful of solo shows scattered around which seems to indicate that they boys really love Australia, and we love that such an iconic group are now frequent visitors to our shore.

Live Review: Flying Lotus + Martyn + Africa Hitech + Arp 101 - Metro Theatre (06.01.12)

While Niche Productions have become well-known in bringing some of the highest quality acts to Australia, their bigger ventures such as the short-lived Days Like This festival seemed largely unappreciated by the wider music community in Sydney, the reason seemed to have been a general lack of good taste by the majority.
