For the first time ever, Cockatoo Island played host to the Underbelly Arts Festival and the largest collection of art school students Sydney has seen since Chris Cunningham played the Opera House for Vivid Festival.

Over the past ten days over 150 of Australia's most exciting contemporary artists have taken over the unique industrial site of Cockatoo Island to collaborate on 24 diverse projects, including performance, aerial work, installation, large-scale projections, and music-based work.
