
The looney Tomas Ford launched his new album and erotic calendar at the Amplifier Bar. Supporting him were array of artists including Boys Boys Boys!, Simo Soo, Felicity Groom & Diger Rokwell, Injuried Ninja, Byron Bard, John Conway and Laith Tierney.



Perth's progressive metal band Voyager, launched their latest release at the Amplifier Bar. Supporting them were Chaos Divine, Hemina from NSW and Meridian.


On a wet Friday night, Perth metal band Sparring For Shotgun launched their "Transmission" single at the Amplifier Bar. Joining them were Melbourne Metal band Sydonia and locals Brutus and Sleeping Giant.



So the other day I was sitting at home wondering what colour to knit my next pair of socks, when I received the news that I was to review one of my favourite bands, Voyager. Needless to say, a jig was danced and I had a celebratory cup of tea to calm my nerves.
After that I ironed my best white t shirt (I like to be a rebel) and headed off to The Amplifier Bar for a night of metal magic.

Melbourne rockers Trial Kennedy delivered an awesome set at the Amplifier Bar. Supporting them were Wolves.

On Saturday night, The Amplifier Bar in Perth played host to the wonderfully energetic Thee Oh Sees from California.


It was a warm and clear night, that saw me head down to the first of many showcases for the One Movement Festival. In many ways it was a perfect night to listen to great music under the city lights.
