My name's Nick Mason, and I'm from Melbourne, Victoria. I'm twenty one, and my love for music intensifies with each day. Each chord, each bar perpetuates a growing obsession. So yeah, I give JB and stores like Dixons and Polyester pretty good business.
I think it all started from a very young age, with my Dad introducing me to Crowded House, playing Woodface on cassette during trips in his old Toyota van. Consequently, its my favourite album, I love all things Finn Brothers, and my interest and passion in music has evolved from those early beginnings - in, perhaps, surprising and unusual ways. To run through everything I listen to seems unnecessary. For the record, I want Arcade Fire and Belle And Sebastian to tour. Pretty badly. But other than that, you'll all come to learn what I like and don't like eventually.
I spend all my other time either working, looking for work, supporting the Hawthorn Football Club with great energy, or following my other passion: film and television. Ultimately, I either want to be a writer/director, or a proficient music journalist. I'm studying a Bachelor of Film And TV at Swinburne.
