Perth’s Young Revelry are experimenters at heart. They are not your typical production-line indie rock band. On the snowballing success of their debut EP, You & I, Young Revelry have announced a run of national tour dates through March and April.

Young Revelry came about in the wake of a lengthy period of collaborative songwriting between Sebastian Astone and Tom King (on vocals/guitar and bass duties respectively.)

And young they are indeed, with the bands’ existence having barely clocked a year, yet they have taken to stages with Dead Meadow (US), Handsome Furs (Can), Shihad and Children Collide, as well as festival appearances at Perth’s Laneway Festival (a slot won by virtue of the proverbial nod from triple j), Southbound Festival and the One Movement Conference.

The EP’s title track, You & I, has made waves at radio and become a triple j favorite. “I keep listening to this song and it keeps growing like lantana. The guitars are great. Guitars are great anyway. But these guys know how to get the best out of them.” – Richard Kingsmill.

They hit the road in March and April to present their pounding live act to audiences at headline shows and festivals, and a string of metro dates in support of Children Collide.
