German rockabilly pop outfit The Baseballs is confirmed for a promotional visit to Australia, gracing our shores from 13th to 20th November.  The enigmatic three-piece won the hearts of UK and European audiences through 2009 and earlier this year with their album “Strike” - now local music fans are set to experience The Baseballs magic when their album is released locally on November 5.
Sam, Basti and Digger are The Baseballs, a rockabilly group influenced by the Golden Fifties and such luminaries as Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis.  They have pioneered their own style of “voc’n’roll” and have devoted themselves to interpreting contemporary pop songs in a 50’s, rockabilly fashion – to quote the band, "We take good songs and transform them into their true style".
The Baseballs album “Strike” topped charts through Europe and debuted at #4 in the UK, resulting in multi-platinum sales throughout the regions.  Fans of all ages have flocked to see the band, drawn to an old-fashioned good time – this is a group with an infectious take on fun!
The Australian release of “Strike” features fifteen tracks, including versions of global smash hits such as “Umbrella”, “Chasing Cars” and “Hot N Cold”.
The Baseballs will undertake a rigorous promotional schedule from Saturday 13th November, including TV and radio performances – as well as several opportunities for fans to experience them in the flesh!
