With their energetic live shows and mix of modern punk, post hardcore and alternative music, Sydney four-piece CAULFIELD hit the road to launch their debut album.
Having formed in 2009, the Caulfield lineup features ex-members of Guns For Glory, Sienna Skies, Me Vs. You and Envy Parade with Mahan Shishineh on Vocals/Keys, Andrew Gill on Vocals/Guitars, Ned Jankovic on Guitar, Cole Wilkins on Bass and Brad Ruddiman on Drums.
Their debut release is in the form of “Clarity In A Sea Of Confusion” which guitarist Ned Jankovic describes as The “perfect introduction” to the band. “It’s about being lost emotionaly and mentally and finding ways to get back to where you want to be and mixes all the elements we love”.
‘Clarity In A Sea Of Conusion’ features the debut single ‘Bring Sunday’ – a song about self-perception and learning to let go of the past and not dwelling on mistakes made. “It relates to how sometimes you can feel like a stranger even around the people you know best and overcoming this so you can move on with life,” says Jankovic.
In the space of such a short time, the band have already achieved so much having supported such acts as Buried In Verona, Vanstorm, Pledge This!, Vegas In Ruins and Hands Like Houses and also signing a deal with New Justice Records for the debut release.
Caulfield will bring their “extremely energetic, random and just fun” live show to the road this November and December to launch the new album.
