To coincide with the release of their remarkable follow up album 'Keep Calm, Carry The Monkey', up-and-coming indie darlings Skipping Girl Vinegar will go on an extended tour of the country starting 4 June in Melbourne and concluding on 26 August in WA and Victoria.

As one would expect from this band, with a discerning eye for songwriting smarts, the support acts are definitely worth catching.

Main support is Keiran Ryan. Best known for his work with Kid Sam (nominated for J Award and AMP Award for their debut CD), Keiran will be picking up his acoustic guitar and stepping into solo mode. He’ll be strumming and picking his way through songs that will be part of a work-in-progress solo album as well as one-man renditions of Kid Sam material.

Colleen Hixenbaugh, the wife of acclaimed singer/songwriter Ron Sexsmith, is perhaps most known in Australia for her guitar prowess in Canadian Indie Rock icons By Divine Right. She has since turned down the amp to step into the acoustic songwriter spotlight. Her upcoming tour of Australia (in support of Skipping Girl Vinegar) will be her SOLO DEBUT unveiling brand new unreleased tunes, as well as showcasing songs from the highly lauded “Colleen and Paul” album.

Having charmed fans around the country with their “five-track harmony wonderland”, Brisbane outfit and SGV friends Charlie Mayfair will join them on their Brisbane & Byron shows.
