Fiery Melbourne songstress Paris Wells has announced that she’ll take her captivating live show on the road for a mini-tour over the upcoming month.
This includes two shows in her hometown of Melbourne, including one at the Corner Hotel on Thursday 16th December with label friends, Metals.
Paris is one of the few performers that can ride the line between massive mainstream exposure and grass-roots credibility – she has rarely performed in venues of the Corner’s size, normally see-sawing between consistently sold-out intimate shows in locations like the Toff in Town and Raval, to epic performances at the MCG as part of Sound Relief and the AFL Grand Final.
Paris also performs in Hepburn Springs for the first time, where she has built a huge following after her cover of Down by the River to Pray became the soundtrack for Daylesford’s massive advertising campaign.
Her new album, Various Small Fires, continues to gain momentum after a string of near-perfect reviews in various media and a rapidly growing word-of-mouth buzz.
The past couple of months have seen her perform live on Good News Week, Sunrise, The Morning Show and at Crown Oaks Day, further expanding her fanbase outside of the trendsetters that have made her one of the most talked-about female Australian acts in recent years.
