New Years Eve is fast approaching and if you still haven’t decided how to celebrate the end of this beautiful, crazy year of 2010 then here’s a little incentive to help make up your mind.

No Years is offering you the chance to win a double pass to see Shout Out Louds, Neon Indian, The John Steel Singers, Jonathan Boulet, Seekae, Seja, Parades, Oh Ye Denver Birds, Little Scout, Bleeding Knees Club and so many more at the Brisbane Powerhouse to see in 2011.

All you have to do is go to www.noyears.com and download the mask of our No Years mascot drawn by wonderkind artists WeBuyYourKids. You can also pick one up in this week’s edition of Rave Magazine. Photograph yourself in all manner of compromising positions (with your clothes on!) and locations wearing the mask and post the photo of yourself on our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/NoYears/157510780932687) and tag yourself in the pic. You could win a double pass to the show! Bring your mask along on the night for a bit of masquerade fun.

You can also record your No Years’ resolutions for posterity as we’ll be taking Polaroid pics of you on the night. You can write your anti-resolution on the bottom, we’ll peg it up on display throughout the festival and then pop it on our NoYears Facebook page for you to tag yourself.

We’ll also be holding a raffle at the mini-festival with all proceeds going to beyondblue: the national depression initiative to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for young people experiencing depression. We’ll be giving away a special prize pack featuring one of Seja’s amazing mini felt instruments, CDs from the artists and signed specialties. Pick up a ticket with a Gold Coin donation on the night. If that’s not all to make you feel all warm and fuzzy, No Years will also be providing FREE buses from the Powerhouse to Brunswick St from 12.30am – 3am. They will be picking up in the carpark and dropping off in the Valley at Brunswick St (near Blockbuster).
