MOTHER AND SON PREVIEW NEW ALBUM
Mother and Son have been making plenty of fans where ever they play recently with their brand of surf tinged garage rock. With the duo set to release their debut album in February, the first taste of the album has been made available as a free download at www.motherandsonmusic.bandcamp.com
Recorded and mixed by vocalist/guitarist Bodie Jarman, the full length captures the raw live sounds that have made Mother and Son shows favourite in recent times.
"Mother and Son’s music has a similar feel to bands like The Cramps, The Black Keys and Link Wray, while their lyrics look back to the classics of Tom Waits. This music sounds like it has originated from a lost highway in a Bukowski novel or if Tom Wait’s ‘9th & Hennepin’ was written somewhere in a Sydney pub."
