It’s been a busy year for Melbourne’s Money For Rope.  After playing two residencies at Cherry Bar, and wowing a 10 thousand-strong crowd at this years’ Community Cup, they then scored a spot on the Splendour In the Grass line-up, before hitting the road for a whirlwind tour of the east-coast.  This high-energy troupe is now set to release their second single – My House or Yours/Six Gun Johnny – on 7” vinyl.

Their debut single – Slow Dance/No.18 was released in October and was picked up for online release through MajorLabel (General Pants Co.).
Picking up support slots with the likes of The Cruel Sea, Even, The Mess Hall, The Meanies, and Bob Log III, along with an appearance at Cherry Rock 2010, Money For Rope continue to impress.  Recently nominated as Best New Artist in the EG Awards, it looks like the only way is up for this garage/soul outfit.
The launch on December 17 at the Old Bar will be a special event to celebrate the new single, as well as the debut – Slow Dance/No. 18
My House Or Yours/Six Gun Johnny is available on 7” vinyl from Missing Link, Polyester, Greville Records and shows
