Matt Corby kicked off his ‘Transition to Colour' tour in Perth last weekend where he played sell out shows. It was the first time his west coast fans had the opportunity to see him live since the EP’s release last month. Out in late October through UK indie label communion (run by Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons) ‘Transition To Colour’ has been winning over fans and critics alike …

‘Transition to Colour’ is a haunting and ethereal collection of songs that display a remarkable maturity for a young man of 19 years. Recorded over three weeks in a London studio in June with Ian Grimble (The Libertines, Seasick Steve), the process was described by all involved as a ‘magical time’. 

2010 has already been a remarkable one for Matt; he has toured with Mumford and Sons, sold out headline live dates around the country, signed a record deal in the UK with indie label Communion and signed an international publishing deal with BMG Rights in London.

Fast gaining a reputation as one of Australia's most unique and captivating performers, the tour offers Australian fans a chance to see Matt showcase his new music live for the first time.
