Martin Reeves a.k.a. Krafty Kuts is fleeing the strangle hold of yet another English winter this November
and heading south, embarking on a 16 gig nationwide mega-tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The English native, known by those closest to him simply as Krafty, last visited our shores over the
summer bringing with him an arsenal of custom edits and re-rubs to Fuzzy’s very own Field Day and
Summafieldayze. After lighting up the DJ circuit across Europe and continuously moving festival crowds
in consummate style, Krafty is heading down under - and doing things differently.
Breaks heads will be heartened to hear that the perennial festival favourite has once again teamed up
with Fuzzy Touring in a bid to get up close and personal with his Oz and Kiwi fans. The Fingerlickin’ head
honcho will be headlining a number of intimate club-specific shows across both nations aimed at
reconnecting with his fans and showcasing some of the jaw dropping skills he became so well known for.
No stranger to these parts, Mr. Kuts will be enjoying the Australian hospitality (and heat) over a full month
posting gigs at the infamous Chinese Laundry Garden Party in Sydney and the Against the Grain affair at
Melbourne’s Brown Alley, before packing up shop and travelling the Tasman. Creating instant summer
classics with a blend of breaks and electro, Krafty plans on showcasing his 2 newest singles ‘Shake
Them Hips’ and ‘Lets Ride’ off his Instant Vibes label whilst letting the sun shine and having his music do
the talking.
The creator of club classics ‘Tell Me How You Feel’, ‘Bass Phenomenon’ and ‘Tricka Technology’ needs
no blurb. Planning on bringing more heat than Mike Tyson in the 90s, Krafty intends on breaking the
winter hibernation of Australian audiences with some bone rattling new material. Expect sets loaded with
bass-heavy breaks, bangin’ hip hop, and a smattering of electro all wired together with some of his
signature rapid-fire mixing. Ladies and gentlemen, this summer is set to pack a punch!
