Cheap Monday, frankie magazine, TheVine, Rooftop Bar and Penny Drop present:
The first installment of Happy Mondays was a whole lot of fun. The weather was perfect, the sunset was stunning and Washed Out and El Guincho brought the party to a sold out audience at Melbourne’s Rooftop Bar.
We are thrilled to announce that Melbourne six piece Graveyard Train will bring their ghost stories, murder ballads and tales of redemption to Happy Mondays. Armed with chains, washboards, steel guitars, banjos and harmonicas, they will be supporting the undisputed champion of blues and folk Charlie Parr on the 27th of December.
Graveyard Train will join the previously announced Dan Kelly’s Dream Band, Those Darlins and Charlie Parr in December, plus the January line up of Neon Indian, Kyu, Sally Seltmann, Lawrence Arabia, The Middle East, Mountain Man, The Twerps and Robert Forster.
The remaining Happy Mondays shows will run from December 20th 2010 until January 31st 2011, with tickets for all shows selling fast!
